Analytical specification versus a lot file
An analytical specification is a written limit for a named test: a method, a unit, and a bound. A single percentage on a website is not that document. This catalog does not publish one house limit that replaces the Certificate of Analysis for every peptide and every method. The lot file remains the record for the vial you received.
The FAQ states a replacement condition if independent testing shows identity failure or purity under 99% on an unopened vial from that batch. That sentence is a catalog policy. It is not a chromatographic method, and it does not fill a blank line on a PDF. Read the policy on the independent-testing FAQ and the file in the certificates library. Research-use only.

- No. It is a replacement condition stated on the FAQ for an unopened vial from that batch. The method and the figures still come from the report you are reading.
- Does a missing purity line fail a specification by itself?
- A missing line is a missing line. Do not invent the number. Ask the lot file, not a glossary entry, what was measured.
