The story behind BlueNex Labs

Canadian labs were waiting on U.S. warehouses and a customs queue for vials that should have come with a batch report. That is why I opened BlueNex Labs.

I am Alice Kay. I finished a Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 2024. The work was biotechnology and peptide science. In 2025 I started selling research materials from Burnaby instead of waiting on another overseas shipment.

Serving Canadian researchers since October 2025. BlueNex Labs reviews supplier documentation, matches a published lot to its COA, emails an invoice with the order, and sends a payment confirmation email once the e-Transfer is received. Orders ship within 24 hours of payment confirmation, and your Xpresspost tracking number is emailed when the label is created so you can follow the package with Canada Post. BlueNex Labs is a sole proprietorship. It is not a corporation, and the name on the invoice is BlueNex Labs. The job is straightforward: a Canadian desk, a lot file when we have one, and a person who answers the email.

What the batch file covers

A milligram number on a label is not the whole record. You still need the sequence, the purity method, and which lot the vial came from.

BlueNex Labs hosts the certificates library. The laboratory named on a PDF produced that file. BlueNex Labs does not publish a manufacturer-audit program. Identity and purity are the mass and chromatography results on the lot you open. Endotoxin is included only when that lot's row links an endotoxin file. Cap colour and the lot note are how you line a vial up with its Certificate of Analysis. A report for a different cap or a different milligram size does not cover the vial in your hand.

Building a Canadian peptide research platform

Orders stay in Canada. We do not ship from a U.S. warehouse, and we do not send parcels across the border.

Checkout uses a Canadian shipping address and Interac e-Transfer. Parcels move on Canada Post Xpresspost inside Canada. Our desk is 4309 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC V5G 1J3. Hours are Open daily, 9 AM–10 PM PT. Email BlueNexLabs@gmail.com. Xpresspost labels use a Port Moody, B.C. PO Box as the sender. That box is the carrier account, not a second store.

I would rather publish the lot file and answer the email than add another SKU I cannot document.

I still read the lot files before they go on the library, and I still answer the desk. The analytical numbers belong to the lab named on the PDF. I did not run that assay.

The plan is to stay a small Canadian source: batch files, a desk in Burnaby, and vials that match the report you opened.

That has been the point from the beginning, and it is still the plan.
