Bacteriostatic water storage, Canada

Research-use notice: This article is laboratory and educational information only. It is not medical or legal advice, and it does not include how-to-use instructions. BlueNex Labs materials are research-use only and are not intended for human or veterinary use. Research-use-only labeling is not a Health Canada authorization.
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with a benzyl alcohol preservative so a multi-dose vial can be punctured more than once in a laboratory. It is a reconstitution reagent. It is not a medicine and it is not an instruction to prepare peptides for people or animals.
Storage
Follow the manufacturer label. Many bottles are stored clean, dry, and away from freezing and direct sun. Canadian winter transit can expose a parcel to freeze-thaw; inspect on arrival and do not use a bottle that leaked, froze solid against label instructions, or lost sterility indicators your SOP requires.
BlueNex Labs lists Hospira bacteriostatic water 30 mL in the other-research-compounds category. The published Janoshik record linked from the COA library is a related 3 mL BAC-water lot — read the report heading rather than assuming it is the same fill as every 30 mL bottle.

How to use this note with the catalog
The live diluent SKU is Hospira bacteriostatic water 30 mL. Read the linked report heading; a 3 mL BAC-water lot does not automatically document every 30 mL bottle.
Orders ship inside Canada only after Interac e-Transfer checkout. Sold-out SKUs remain listed and cannot be added to the cart. Match each vial to its own Certificate of Analysis when a lot is published. Research-use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
