Lyophilized peptides are sensitive to moisture, oxygen, light, and temperature cycling. Handling quality starts when the Canada Post parcel is opened, not when the assay is pipetted. On receipt

Inspect packaging and labels. Photograph damage within 48 hours and email the order number as described in the FAQ and Terms. Do not leave parcels in vehicles, outdoor boxes, or loading docks.

Lyophilized storage

Keep vials sealed until needed. Follow the temperature on the product listing or supplier note. Limit how long a container stays open. Avoid unnecessary freeze-thaw once a solution is prepared; aliquot according to your lab SOP rather than warming the entire stock repeatedly.

Humidity is often the practical risk in coastal labs; temperature shock is the practical risk after a winter delivery. Those are environmental controls, not reasons to publish a list of Canadian cities.

Records

Log product name, lot, receipt date, and storage location. Match the lot to the Certificate of Analysis before the material enters a regulated study file.
