CJC-1295 without DAC, laboratory definition
CJC-1295, in the Jetté 2005 rat-pituitary paper, is a tetrasubstituted hGRF(1-29) analogue carrying a C-terminal maleimidopropionyl lysine, the drug affinity complex (DAC) that binds albumin (Endocrinology, DOI 10.1210/en.2004-1286). "No DAC" means that albumin-binding group is absent. The backbone is still discussed as a GHRH-receptor analogue. It is not ipamorelin, and it is not sermorelin.
This catalog does not sell a CJC-only vial. The live SKU is CJC-1295 (no DAC) / ipamorelin 5 mg/5 mg. A bare /shop/cjc-1295 path redirects there. Do not file a DAC-conjugate paper as the identity of the no-DAC lot. The mass on the Certificate of Analysis is the identity record. Class context is GHRH analogs.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a CJC-1295 shop page without ipamorelin?
- No. The only live catalog item is the 5 mg/5 mg fill with ipamorelin. Research notes that mention a standalone CJC vial are describing a gap, not a hidden SKU.
- Does no DAC change the receptor name?
- No. Both the DAC conjugate in the 2005 paper and the no-DAC backbone are discussed as GHRH-receptor ligands. DAC changes the albumin-binding chemistry, not the receptor assignment. Ipamorelin in the same vial is still a GHSR ligand.
