Ipamorelin, GHSR ligand definition
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, described by Raun and colleagues in 1998 as a growth hormone secretagogue acting through a GHRP-like receptor rather than the GHRH receptor (PMID 9849822). In current naming that receptor is GHSR-1a. The paper's cell and animal measurements stay inside that paper. They are not instructions, and they are not a specification printed on a BlueNex Labs vial.
The catalog lists ipamorelin 10 mg on its own and again inside CJC-1295 (no DAC) / ipamorelin 5 mg/5 mg. Those are different fills. A certificate for the pair does not document the 10 mg vial. Read GHSR ligands for the class and the paired research guide for the two-receptor note.
Frequently asked questions
- Is ipamorelin a GHRH analogue?
- No. Published descriptions assign ipamorelin to the ghrelin receptor GHSR-1a. CJC-1295 without DAC, sermorelin, and tesamorelin are the GHRH-analogue names on this site.
- Does the paired vial's COA cover ipamorelin 10 mg?
- No. Match the milligram fill. The 5 mg/5 mg blend and the 10 mg single-peptide vial need their own reports when those lots are published.
