CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin vs Ipamorelin: Research Comparison

Research-use notice: This page compares sequences, receptor classes, and catalog records. It is not medical or veterinary advice, and it does not rank materials for personal use. BlueNex Labs materials are research-use only. Research-use-only labeling is not a Health Canada authorization and it does not create a Drug Identification Number.

The catalog sells ipamorelin twice, and the second time it is not alone. One URL is a single pentapeptide. The other is a convenience fill that also contains a GHRH-analogue backbone. Pairing the names on one label is receiving convenience. It does not merge two sequences into one molecular weight, and it does not make the 5 mg ipamorelin portion a documentation shortcut for the 10 mg vial. The paired-topic guide is CJC-1295 and ipamorelin. Receptor class notes are GHRH analogs and GHSR ligands.

Two sequences, two receptors

Ipamorelin is the synthetic pentapeptide Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2. Raun and colleagues described it in 1998 as a growth hormone secretagogue that, in their pharmacological profiling, acted through a GHRP-like receptor rather than the GHRH receptor (PMID 9849822). In current naming that receptor is GHSR-1a. The aminoisobutyric acid and the D-residues change the calculated mass relative to an all-proteinogenic pentapeptide of the same length. The glossary entry is ipamorelin. The paper's cell and animal measurements stay in that paper. They are not a method for the vial.

CJC-1295, in the Jetté 2005 paper, is a tetrasubstituted analogue of hGRF(1-29) carrying a C-terminal maleimidopropionyl lysine (Endocrinology, DOI 10.1210/en.2004-1286). That group is the drug affinity complex, or DAC, discussed there as binding albumin. "No DAC" means that albumin-binding group is absent. The remaining backbone is still discussed as a GHRH-receptor analogue. It is not ipamorelin, and it is not sermorelin. There is no CJC-only shop URL. A request for bare /shop/cjc-1295 redirects to the paired fill. The glossary line is CJC-1295 (no DAC).

What the fill does and does not combine

GHRH-receptor papers usually follow a Gs-coupled path and a cyclic AMP readout. GHSR-1a papers usually follow a Gq-coupled path and a calcium or inositol-phosphate readout. The paired vial therefore puts two receptor classes in one inventory line. A notebook that says only "the blend" has not recorded which receptor each solid is for. Collapsing the line to the shelf word secretagogue loses the same split. The secretagogue category hub is a purchasing route, not a single sequence.

Lot match

Both SKUs have library anchors on the September 20, 2026 review. The anchors are not interchangeable. The paired-fill PDF does not document ipamorelin 10 mg, and the 10 mg PDF does not document the 5 mg/5 mg glass. Read how to read a peptide COA before you file either one. Match the sample name and the milligram split to the label. If a report shows one mass, ask which sequence that mass belongs to. A single area percent cannot stand in for two chains.

Sermorelin and tesamorelin are further GHRH analogues with their own comparison, sermorelin vs tesamorelin. They are not nicknames for the no-DAC backbone. IGF-1 LR3, follistatin-344, and AOD-9604 have research notes only and no shop URL. A certificate for this pair does not describe them.

What the analytical worksheet should show

A useful line for the paired fill has two mass cells and one inventory SKU. A useful line for the 10 mg vial has one mass cell. If the blend report prints a single purity figure, copy the figure next to the sample name and leave a note that the figure was not split by sequence. Do not borrow the 10 mg area percent to complete the blend, and do not borrow the blend figure to complete the 10 mg row. Endotoxin, when the library row includes it, stays on the row that printed it. HPLC area percent and LC-MS mass answer different questions even when they come from one laboratory.

Receiving in Canada

Checkout is Interac e-Transfer to a Canadian address. Parcels move on Canada Post Xpresspost. The write-up is Canada laboratory procurement. Solids arrive lyophilized. Log two names and two masses when the glass is the pair, and one name when the glass is ipamorelin 10 mg. Research-use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

Frequently asked questions

Is the paired vial the same material as ipamorelin 10 mg?
No. The paired fill is CJC-1295 without DAC at 5 mg plus ipamorelin at 5 mg. Ipamorelin 10 mg is a separate listing and a separate lot. A certificate for one does not document the other.
Does the no-DAC label mean the 2005 DAC conjugate?
No. Jetté and colleagues identified CJC-1295 as an albumin-binding conjugate. The catalog SKU is labeled no DAC. Use the mass on that lot's Certificate of Analysis, not the 2005 conjugate, as the identity record.
Are the two sequences aimed at the same receptor?
No. CJC-1295 without DAC is discussed as a GHRH-receptor analogue. Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide assigned to GHSR-1a. The paired vial contains one sequence from each class.
